Flower Power

Rachel and I learned how to make these fabric flowers and we made a lot and attached them to many different things for Christmas gifts this year. We sewed them on gloves (on the outside of the wrist), made hair clips, headbands and attached them to hats. She was all set this year for friend gifts.
All you need to do is cut out varying sizes of satin fabric, cut them into scalloped circles and hold them over an open flame to warp the fabric.

With a needle and thread, sew the petals together and attach the beads.

Once that is done, you can attach it to anything you would care to attach a flower to.
