Rachel told me a few months ago that she was thinking of trying out for the basketball team. I said, "Sure, why not?" Because of the years and years of gymnastics, I knew that she is extremely athletic and coordinated and focused. But to tell you the truth, I was surprised that she made the team. I didn't even know she knew how to play basketball! She plays point guard and although she is far from the tallest girl on the team, she really fights hard and she is fun to watch.
Even though her team didn't win many games and being on the team prevented her from being in the spring musical, she had a great time and I was impressed with her attitude.

What next? Rachel and Emma just started track. Those girls are always on the go...I think I need to go lie down.

Your girls really are amazing -- I'm sure they can do anything that they want to. Such cute pictures of your little athlete.
Good for her! There's nothing quite like being part of a team. Such great memories whether they win or lose. How fun!
