He's Golden

Caleb had a big birthday this year. He turned 10 on the 10th (of November) in 2010. I  mean how often does a chap have such a momentous birthday? Every hundred years or so. He was so excited and we are going to have a big friend party for him to celebrate. What did we actually do on his birthday? He stayed home from school with a bad tummy ache and a fever. So very, very sad. Last year for his birthday, he got the present of the H1N1 virus and a good dose of pneumonia thrown in because Swine Flu just isn't enough.
We did manage to have a little party for him on his birthday with homemade chicken noodle soup and rolls. We decided to save his fancy birthday cake for when his tummy felt better.

This is by far his favorite gift. Thanks Ed, for the Rajon Rondo jersey.

There are so many things about him that make him lovable and fun to be around for instance, I am always finding things in the freezer that he has frozen.
I think that is an eraser in the cup. I feel bad for his Lego guys, they are always getting frozen. My favorite was when he froze his Lego Indiana Jones guy. He explained to me that the reason his gun was drawn was because he was in a fight with the bad guys and they froze him with a freeze ray. Well, the freeze ray only works for five minutes so the bad guys put Indy in a giant cup and froze him. Oh Indy, won't you be surprised!
Caleb is always pulling weird faces that make us laugh. We're all crazy about him. Rachel and Emma sometimes spontaneously grab him and hug him and tell him he's cute. He doesn't like that very much.
He loves spending time with his family. Here they are at a Hunter family reunion.

He loves spending time with his dad. The night before his birthday, he was really sick and the girls and I were at young women. When I came home, he told me he had a good night because he watched the Jazz game (which the Jazz won in overtime) while lying on his dad. I wish I had a picture of that. Those two are really close and I love, love, love it.

Did I mention that he was a really cute little boy?
This is one of my most favorite things that I have recorded ever. It was when I first got my camera and I was trying out the video function. I learned that I shouldn't rotate the camera because I can't rotate the video back when it was done. If I ever feel down, I can look at this video and it makes me laugh. Caleb is two in it. My favorite part is when he giggles because he is so pleased with himself.

He is so fun to have around! Everyone tells me how cool he is. I concur.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Caleb. Sorry you were sick on your birthday. We sure love you, and think you are very cool. My kids sure love you, that is for sure. I'm so glad that video wasn't a casualty when you lost your hard drive. He was such a cute baby boy, and is still super cute! Can't wait to see you guys soon.

Oh my. Caleb, we need to hang out. I'll bring my Brid jersey and you be Rondo and we'll dominate the street ball scene. That is a cool jersey.
